Atomic Time

Do you want to know the exact time? Here you can see the exact time, thanks to synchronisation with atomic time. Atomic time is created using the measurements from more than 260 atomic clocks which are distributed globally in 60 institutes. International Atomic Time is established as a reference time using these clocks. The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) in Paris is responsible for this. It is for this reason that atomic clocks, often described as primary clocks, are the most accurate clocks – and so atomic time is the most accurate.

In Germany there are atomic clocks for example in the “Physikalisch-Technischen-Bundesanstalt” in Braunschweig. It is from here that the German time signal station in Mainflingen is controlled, which shows for example the radio clocks commonly used in business. If you require the exact time, you can now find this on our Mogani web pages.

Our watches are continuously synchronised with atomic time. You will also find our online watch store on our web pages. We warmly invite you to take a look around here.
